On-Chip Coherent Transduction between Magnons and Acoustic Phonons in Cavity Magnomechanics

چکیده

Magnons, namely spin waves, are collective excitations in ferromagnets, and their control through coupling with other is a key technology for future hybrid spintronic devices. Although strong has been demonstrated microwave photonic structures, an alternative approach permitting high density integration minimized electromagnetic crosstalk required. Here we report planar cavity magnomechanical system, where the of surface acoustic waves enhances spatial spectral power to thus implement magnon-phonon at room temperature. Excitation spin-wave resonance involves significant absorption, whereas motion reversely exerts back-action force on dynamics. The frequency quality-factor significantly modified by effect, resultant cooperativity exceeds unity, suggesting coherent interaction between magnons phonons. demonstration chip-scale system paves way development novel spin-acoustic technologies classical quantum applications.
